I have a storage system that I would like to sell
I have a warehouse full of racking or a mezzanine floor, and I would like someone to buy it from me.
We have a specialist team dedicating to removing unwanted Pallet Racking, Mezzanine Floors and other storage equipment. This is particularly useful if you have a new warehouse, but the storage system inside does not suit your needs, or if you are an agent or property owner who needs to clear a warehouse in between clients.
We will need to take a full inventory of what equipment you have, but to help you in this process, we have listed somethings which you will need to take in to consideration.
It costs us money in labour, plant hire, and transport to remove your racking. We have to deduct the cost of this from the used value of the racking, in order to make you an offer
What is the condition of the racking or Mezzanine floor? The better condition it is in, the more we will offer you for it. For any damaged racking, we will dismantle it and remove it, but won’t pay you for it.
If you have pallet racking, we will need to know what brand it is. Dexion, Link 51 and Apex are the most common brands in the UK, and therefore hold their value. Although Redirack is a UK brand, it’s welded construction makes it more difficult to sell. Please see our racking identifier to find out which brand yours is.
Again, for pallet racking, what sizes and capacities are the beams? 2.7m long beams with 2000KG capacity are a very common beam type, and will hold far better value than a 2.5m or 3m beam with a capacity of 1500kg or less, for example.
